About Me
What’s good, y’all? My name’s Mikael, AKA haxocepted!I’m a Guinean-Korean, 21-year-old college student who’s studying to become a developer for games, bots, and websites.Of course, I also dabble with art. I like to draw bara mostly, muscular reptiles if you will, but I also draw other things too!I'm a Native Korean speaker, but I'm also fluent in English, Swahili, and Guinean-French. I can also communicate quite well in Spanish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. I'm currently studying more languages as well. My goal? I'd like to be fluent in at least 10 languages by time I'm 25.I'd like to one day have a family. But obviously a little bit further into the future and when I'm financially able to do so. Welcome to my Q&A page! Here, I'll answer any questions you may have for me regarding my art or anything commission-related!
What tools do you use?
For my digital art, I mainly use ibisPaint (Full Version) and Procreate on an 8th generation iPad(A2270 Model) with a 1st generation Apple pencil. For my traditional artpieces, I use a 10.8"x8.3" Mix-Media Ohuhu sketchbook with the 320 Ohuhu Marker bundle(Oahu series), Ohuhu fineliners (colored set and all black), as well as Kalour 120 Colored Pencils and Sakura Gelly Roll pens.
Why do you only take commissions over Discord?
On top of the fact that I communicate easier over Discord, I also have a custom bot on my server that helps me log my orders and maintain commission status easier. So for that reason, I only accept commissions over Discord.
Why do you hate drawing Eevee/Zorua/Vulpix?
There was a period of time where these were the only things that I drew. Despite the amount of engagement it got me, I didn't enjoy it. It didn't reflect me as an artist nor my interests. As a result, I'm no longer drawing anything of this caliber. I don't want an audience of people who expect me to exclusively draw small, fluffy quadrupeds.
Why don’t you take difficult designs?
My art style naturally pairs better with certain designs—specifically ones that have a balanced color palette and aren’t overloaded with tiny, complicated details. When a character has way too many clashing colors, patterns on top of patterns, or accessories everywhere, it can make the piece feel messy and take away from the overall composition. I like my work to look clean, cohesive, and visually appealing.
Can I use your art as my profile picture, banner, etc.?
Absolutely! As long as the piece isn’t my personal OC or a commissioned piece belonging to someone else, you’re free to use it.
May I reupload your art to e621, Pinterest, Danbooru, Inkbunny, etc.?
No. Please don’t reupload my work to those sites or similar platforms.
Am I allowed to post my commission?
Yes, of course! Just please make sure to credit me when you do.
Why did you delete your old cutesy art from your page?
There was a period and time in my life where I drew predominantly cute, fluffy stuff over and over again as that was what got likes at the time. Despite the success, I felt miserable doing it. Any attempt to deviate from the norm would fly under the radar. At one point, I just decided I didn't desire to do that anymore and from that point, I was going to move forward in a direction where that type of content is not the main focus on my page. I do not wish to be associated with the type of content I used to create anymore.
Do you take requests?
Absolutely not. I do not take art requests under any circumstances. Do not ask me to draw something for you for free.

Any and all shading will cost an addition 50% of the overall canvas. Additional characters will also be an added +25% of the base price. (For example, a full-body with two characters and shading will cost $75.00)

Before You Buy:
PLEASE READ MY ToS THOROUGHLY! I will immediately deny commission requests from people who don't read it.
Contacting Me:
My Discord is my main contact. I do not accept DMs on any other platform. In order to get into contact with me, please join My Server and verify using the "/book" command.
Snag a Slot!
Run the "/order" command to claim a slot! You will be asked what you want through an application and it will be given to me!
Supply me a high-quality, unshaded reference image of the character. If it is pixelated, blurry, or heavily rendered, I'm denying the application.
I don't run a "First Come, First Serve" type thing, but I do generally have commissions open for a few days or a week before closing them. So hurry up and get yourself a slot!
If you are asking for a NSFW commission, please do not give me a reference image that has non-humanoid genitalia visible in it.
Payment
I take all my payments through KoFi!
Invoices must be paid in full before I start.
Process
Review: Once you submit your application via the bot, I will review it. If accepted, the bot should send the link for payment.
Sketch Phase: After payment is secured, I will start on the initial sketch. I will send this to you for approval. This is the best time to request any major changes to the pose, anatomy, or to add/remove things!
Finalization: Once the sketch is approved, I will move on to the final line art, coloring, and rendering.
Delivery: You will receive a high-resolution, unwatermarked PNG file of your finished artwork.
Give Feedback!
Be specific! When I send you a WIP, I need actual details. Simply saying "It looks good!" or reacting with an emoji doesn't exactly tell me if I actually nailed the design or if you're just being polite.
Speak up early; the sketch phase is prime time to point out if a horn is too short, the snout needs adjusting, or the pose isn't quite what you envisioned. Don't be shy... tell me exactly what needs tweaking before I start the final line art and rendering!
What good feedback looks like: "I love the pose, but can you make the tail a little thicker?" or "Could we make the expression look a bit angrier?"
Refund Policy
You are only eligible for a refund if you have not received any significant update after 90 days, which is 3 months!
If you cancel before I start the sketch phase, you will receive a full refund.
If you cancel after the sketch has started, you will receive a 50% refund to compensate for my time.
If you attempt to cancel anytime after the lineart phase, I will refund 25%.
If I have to cancel your commission for any reason on my end, you will be issued a full refund immediately, regardless of how much I've advanced on the art piece.

By commissioning me, you agree to my ToS. I will ask you to summarize it to verify that you've read it.
You must be over 18 to commission me. I will not accept commissions from minors.
I may post the finished artwork on my portfolio or social media unless requested otherwise before I begin.
I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.
Please provide clear references before I begin. I require an unshaded, high-quality full-body/reference sheet of your character so I may draw them.
My artwork is for personal use unless commercial rights are discussed beforehand.
Be respectful throughout the commission process.

My NSFW Policy
Yes, I do NSFW commissions. However, before you jump to getting one, please review my rules first.I will not draw:
I will not draw any non-humanoid genitalia, which includes but is not limited to sheaths/knots, tapered penises, genital slits, barbed penises, etc. In addition, do not give me reference images with visible animal genitals. I will decline it immediately.
Feral characters are a no-go. If it stands on four legs, I am not depicting them in a sexual setting.
Characters who are under the age of 18 are also getting skipped. Enough said.
I will not do fetish artwork.
I will not draw any depictions of incest.
I will not depict any nonconsensual/rape.
