About Me

What’s good, y’all? My name’s Mikael, AKA haxocepted!I’m a Guinean-Korean, 21-year-old college student who’s studying to become a developer for games, bots, and websites.Of course, I also dabble with art. I like to draw bara mostly, muscular reptiles if you will, but I also draw other things too!I'm a Native Korean speaker, but I'm also fluent in English, Swahili, and Guinean-French. I can also communicate quite well in Spanish, Italian, Mandarin Chinese, and Japanese. I'm currently studying more languages as well. My goal? I'd like to be fluent in at least 10 languages by time I'm 25.I'd like to one day have a family. But obviously a little bit further into the future and when I'm financially able to do so. Welcome to my Q&A page! Here, I'll answer any questions you may have for me regarding my art or anything commission-related!

What tools do you use?

For my digital art, I mainly use ibisPaint (Full Version) and Procreate on an 8th generation iPad(A2270 Model) with a 1st generation Apple pencil. For my traditional artpieces, I use a 10.8"x8.3" Mix-Media Ohuhu sketchbook with the 320 Ohuhu Marker bundle(Oahu series), Ohuhu fineliners (colored set and all black), as well as Kalour 120 Colored Pencils and Sakura Gelly Roll pens.

Why do you hate drawing Eevee/Zorua/Vulpix?

There was a period of time where these were the only things that I drew. Despite the amount of engagement it got me, I didn't enjoy it. It didn't reflect me as an artist nor my interests. As a result, I'm no longer drawing anything of this caliber. I don't want an audience of people who expect me to exclusively draw small, fluffy quadpeds.

Why don’t you take difficult designs?

My art style naturally pairs better with certain designs—specifically ones that have a balanced color palette and aren’t overloaded with tiny, complicated details. When a character has way too many clashing colors, patterns on top of patterns, or accessories everywhere, it can make the piece feel messy and take away from the overall composition. I like my work to look clean, cohesive, and visually appealing.

Can I use your art as my profile picture, banner, etc.?

Absolutely! As long as the piece isn’t my personal OC or a commissioned piece belonging to someone else, you’re free to use it.

May I reupload your art to e621, Pinterest, Danbooru, Inkbunny, etc.?

No. Please don’t reupload my work to those sites or similar platforms.

Am I allowed to post my commission?

Yes, of course! Just please make sure to credit me when you do.

Why did you delete your old cutesy art from your page?

I don't want to be associated with that type of content anymore as I'm moving forward with an artistic direction that fits me better. I am not sorry for this choice, and I don't enjoy drawing the same cute slop over and over again.

Do you take requests?

Absolutely not. I do not take art requests under any circumstances. Do not ask me to draw something for you for free.

  • By commissioning me, you agree to my ToS. I will ask you to summarize it to verify that you've read it.

  • You must be over 18 to commission me. I will not accept commissions from minors.

  • I may post the finished artwork on my portfolio or social media unless requested otherwise before I begin.

  • I reserve the right to decline any commission for any reason.

  • Please provide clear references before I begin. I require an unshaded, high-quality full-body/reference sheet of your character so I may draw them.

  • My artwork is for personal use unless commercial rights are discussed beforehand.

My NSFW Policy

Yes, I do NSFW commissions. However, before you jump to getting one, please review my rules first.I will not draw:

  • I will not draw any non-humanoid genitalia, which includes but is not limited to sheaths/knots, tapered penises, genital slits, barbed penises, etc.

  • Feral characters are a no-go. If it stands on four legs, I am not depicting them in a sexual setting.

  • Characters who are under the age of 18 are also getting skipped. Enough said.

  • I will not do fetish artwork
